The West is facing another storm in an ongoing active pattern. Heavy rain, mountain snow and strong winds will batter the region as this storm parade continues over the next several days.

The West will deal with rain on the first day of winter, the East and Great Lakes will get snow and cold, with very cold wind chills in the Northeast.

Several inches of wet snow are expected accumulate across parts of Michigan through Monday night, according to the National Weather Service, with some areas possibly experiencing more than 6 inches of accumulation of wet snow.

For the next few days, expect rain, breezy winds, snow (for some) and that general murkiness that makes you question if the sun exists.
