The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Wednesday announced a list of 15 match officials, including three match referees and 12 umpires for the Champions Trophy 2025

A top official from International Cricket Council has resigned just weeks before the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 gets underway in Pakistan and Dubai.

A list of 15 match officials was released by ICC on Wednesday, which featured three match referees and twelve umpires for the marquee tournament.

India captain Rohit Sharma downplayed the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy 2025 game against Pakistan in Dubai. Speaking at the BCCI Awards, Rohit reckoned it is ‘just another game' when asked to speak about the upcoming game on February 23. He also said that on the day, the team just wants to show up well.

No Indians were named in the list of match officials for ICC Champions Trophy 2025. According to a PTI report, India’s Nitin Menon opted out of the tournament. Former India cricketer and current ICC match referee Javagal Srinath too didn’t find a place.
