The NWS Newport/Morehead City NC issued a dense fog advisory at 7:05 a.m. on Monday in effect until 9 a.m. The advisory is for Northern Craven, Southern Craven, West Carteret and East Carteret as well as Pitt County.

On Wednesday at 3:20 p.m. the NWS Newport/Morehead City NC issued a winter weather advisory valid from 6 p.m. until Thursday 10 a.m. The advisory is for Martin, Pitt, Greene, Duplin and Lenoir counties.

A cold weather advisory was issued by the NWS Eureka CA on Monday at 9:15 p.m. valid for Tuesday between midnight and 9 a.m.
