Nvidia’s RTX 50-series GPUs are just around the corner, with the first releases — the RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 — dropping on January 30th. The RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5070 will follow that with their own releases in February, but some are already getting a sneak peek at the GPUs’ software benefits through DLSS 4.

Nvidia is finally doing right by gamers with its 5000-series by offering comparable prices for far superior performance.

That extra processing power naturally translates to better performance, making the RTX 5090 the new king of 4K gaming. It’s a $1,999 GPU for anyone who wants the best 4K gaming experience, developers interested in AI performance, and creators who want to accelerate video editing.

Nvidia say that they consider the RTX 4090's melting power adapter problem to be long fixed, and it shouldn't reappear on the upcoming RTX 5090 and RTX 5080.

The RTX 5090 is the most insane graphics card Nvidia has ever released, and that's exactly why it's so impressive.

We expect Amazon to have standalone RTX 5090 cards as well as prebuilt PCs with RTX 5090 cards inside. There's no signs of preorders yet, but once they go live you'll have to act fast as this retailer tends to sell out.
