When Drake and Kendrick Lamar first started duking it out through a series of hard-hitting diss tracks in the spring of 2024, no one could've predicted that the back-and-forth would soon become one of hip-hop's most historic rap beefs on record - much less one of the music industry's biggest legal battles.

The leading hip-hop superstar beef has been cranked up another notch, with Drake suing Universal Music Group for defamation over rival Kendrick Lamar’s diss track “Not Like Us.”

During a celebrity news roundup, Bravo's Daryn Carp reported that Drake is suing Universal Music Group, which represents both him and Kendrick Lamar. Drake claims the diss track "Not Like Us" caused him "bodily harm,
