Despite two losses earlier in the season to LSU and Kentucky, Ole Miss is still very much in the thick of the College Football Playoff conversation thanks to the meteoric play of QB Jaxson Dart, who put up an explosive 515 yards and 6 TDs in Saturdays 63-31 win over the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Dart, who made Ole Miss history in Saturday's 63-31 win over Arkansas, was named the AP National Player of the Week, as announced by the publication on Monday morning. This marks the third weekly award of the morning for Dart, who has already won Reese’s Senior Bowl Offensive Player of the Week and East-West Shrine Bowl Monday Morning Quarterback.

Jaxson Dart and Jordan Watkins had a day for the ages this past Saturday, inserting their names into the Ole Miss football record book and doing it in style in a 63-31 victory at Arkansas.
