As part of the deal, the struggling district is selling Isaac Middle School to Tolleson Union High School District for $25 million, which Tolleson will then lease back the building at 6% interest.

The resignation took effect on Jan. 30. Under the agreement, the Isaac Middle School property will be involved in a Lease-Purchase Agreement, at an interest rate of up to 6%, unless a default happens.

It was agreed the Tolleson Union High School District (TUHSD) would pay $25 million for Isaac Middle School and later lease it back to the west Phoenix district, according to the proposal.
