Rescue workers discover another dead body of a labourer body trapped inside the coal mine in Assam's Dima Hasao.

This is the second body rescued by teams of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), Indian Army and Assam Rifles. The deceased miner, whose body was recovered at 7:36 AM has been identified as Lt. Lijen Magar, (27) a resident of Kalamati village in the district.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said on Tuesday that a person has been arrested after nine workers were trapped inside a coal mine in Dima Hasao district, which "appears to be illegal". He also said a case was registered in connection with the incident that occurred on Monday in Umrangso area.
