A Denver judge declined Monday night to rule immediately on a lawsuit seeking to force the hand-counting of ballots in more than half of Colorado’s counties.

Despite the reassurances, the Libertarian Party of Colorado filed a lawsuit against the secretary of state, KOAA5 reported. On Nov. 5, Denver District Court Judge Kandace Gerdes denied the lawsuit, finding the secretary of state took proper action and confirming there was no evidence of compromised voting systems, according to a release.

A hearing is underway in connection with a lawsuit against Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold after partial passwords to Colorado's voting systems were posted on Secretary of State website last week.

The Colorado Libertarian Party asked the court to decommission voting equipment and order a hand count of ballots in counties affected.
