Kasey Kahne, a long-time NASCAR Cup Series driver, will pilot a third NASCAR Xfinity Series entry for Richard Childress Racing, the No. 33 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet.

Richard Childress Racing announced Friday that Kasey Kahne will drive for the team in the Xfinity Series' return to Rockingham on April 19.

Kasey Kahne is set to run a NASCAR race in 2025. Kahne, 44, will run the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Rockingham Speedway in April with Richard Childress Racing, the team announced Friday in a press release.

Kahne will drive Richard Childress Racing’s No. 33 Chevrolet on April 19, when he will make his first NASCAR series start since Sept. 2018.

Kasey Kahne is set for his first NASCAR race since 2018 In 2018, Kasey Kahne’s NASCAR career came to an abrupt end. He was contracted to race full-time that year but he was forced to cut his season short due to medical issues.

Kasey Kahne, who was named as one of NASCAR's 75 Greatest Drivers in 2023, will race for Richard Childress Racing this April.
