The U.S. trade deficit with Vietnam exceeded $110 billion in the first 11 months of 2024, latest U.S. figures show, as exports from the Southeast Asian industrial hub grew amid a record fall of its currency against the dollar.

Canada’s long-running trade surplus with its closest neighbor widened late last year as exports again increased, helping narrow the country’s global deficit for a third straight month.

Canada recorded a ninth consecutive monthly trade deficit in November, albeit smaller than expected, as exports rose faster than imports, and its trade surplus with the United States widened, data showed on Tuesday.

France recorded a trade deficit of €7.1B in November 2024, more than estimates of €7.0B, but lower than last's months €7.5B. Over the month, exports increased €0.6B more than imports €0.3B. Exports stood at €49.
