Diggs began his career with the Minnesota Vikings, where he played from 2015 to 2019, working with quarterback Kirk Cousins for two of those seasons. Joining his fourth team in his decade long career, Diggs has worked with his fare share of quarterbacks and knows the importance of creating a personal relationship with the offensive leader.

Diggs brings 10 years of NFL experience to the Patriots and gives Maye, the third pick in the 2024 draft, a receiving option that recorded six consecutive 1,000-plus yard seasons before that streak ended in 2024. Dating back to 2020, Diggs has 5,868 receiving yards, which ranks sixth in the NFL, and 40 touchdowns, which ranks seventh.

Stefon Diggs officially became a New England Patriot on Friday when he inked a three-year deal worth $69 million. The 31-year-old is set to become the Patriots' No. 1 target after a season where the team's receiving leading was tight end Hunter Henry.
