Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald was non-committal when asked about whether they could cut Tyler Lockett this offseason.

When asked whether wide receiver Tyler Lockett would be on the roster for the 2025 season, Seattle Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald said the team is "working through that" and will make a decision in the next month or so.

Tyler Lockett sounded last month like he’d played his last game for the Seahawks. Since then, they’ve hired a new offensive coordinator. They have a new path for 2025. They have to re-work or shed contracts to get under the salary cap by exactly one month from now.

The Seahawks held an introductory press conference for new offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak on Tuesday and Kubiak said he thinks there's a lot of talent for him to work with in Seattle for the 2025 season.
