Missouri women’s basketball coach Robin Pingeton, after 15 years, has coached her final home game with Mizzou. Here’s what she said after it ended.

The Mizzou men’s basketball team was on fire Wednesday night as they took down No. 4 ranked, University of Alabama. But, the sparks didn’t stop flying when the game ended.

COLUMBIA, Mo. — A small fire broke out in a Mizzou Arena suite following Wednesday night's basketball game between Missouri and Alabama, leading to an evacuation of the facility but no injuries. The fire was extinguished by arena staff, and the Columbia fire department responded shortly thereafter, MU's athletics department said in a statement.

At the end of the 100-59 loss to Vanderbilt, Missouri coach Robin Pingeton was honored as she coached her final game Sunday afternoon at Mizzou Arena "I am still a really bad loser so I had to try to recalibrate to enjoy this moment,

"I wanted to give our administration plenty of time to get their ducks in a row and get organized," Pingeton said of early resignation.
