Bess M. Miller Portsmouth – Bess Marsh Miller, 95, of the 400 block of Tareyton Ln., passed away Sunday, February 2, 2014. She was born in Marshville, NC to the late Festus and Bessie Marsh.

Kansas City Royals pitcher Alec Marsh grew up in Bay View. Marsh is hoping for a chance to pitch at American Family Field once he's off the IL.
