Select the box to the left of Line Spacing labeled "Spacing" to adjust the space before and after the paragraph. To save the maximum space, select "0" for both Before and After entry boxes.

Step 3: Click on the Line and paragraph spacing icon. (This icon is located within the Paragraph section of the Home tab.) Step 4: From the drop-down menu that appears, select 2.0.

This will prompt a popup menu and click "Paragraph." Next to "Line Spacing" will be an up and down arrow. Click the up arrow to change the spacing to double, or 2.00.

Select Line & paragraph spacing. Click Double. Besides single, 1.15, 1.5, and double spacing, Google Docs also lets you set custom parameters for your line spacing using the Custom spacing button.
