Lehigh Valley Mall management’s decision to ask LANTA to close its transit center at the mall is disheartening. This location has been a godsend to those of us who don’t drive or are disabled.

LANTA plans to close its transit center at Lehigh Valley Mall, potentially affecting six bus routes, including its Enhanced Bus Service to Wind Creek Bethlehem.

Representatives from Lehigh Valley Mall were not immediately available for comment. In the meantime, LANTA is polling riders to see what should be done, such as identifying alternate locations.
