Jimmy Butler is currenlty serving his second team suspension of the season as he tries to force a trade out of Miami. The Heat went 3–4 during Butler's first suspension and were just 1–2 in the three games he played in before missing a team flight.

Butler has demanded a trade out of Miami and it is likely that they will honor it ahead of the deadline. The Suns have been named as Butler’s preferred landing spot, but they have yet to agree on a deal with the Heat to acquire him.

"Ask the other 29 GMs -- 26 of them would trade their whole team for our whole team and our draft picks and everything as is," Ishbia said during a press conference following the first-round sweep his Phoenix Suns suffered at the hands of the Minnesota Timberwolves.
