Harrison Bader, a Jewish outfielder who grew up in Bronxville, New York, is departing the New York Mets after one year with the team. Bader, a free agent, has signed a one-year, $6.25 million contract with the Minnesota Twins.

Harrison Bader revived his career with the Mets in 2024, ultimately earning a contract from the Twins just before spring training got underway.

The former Yankees and Mets center fielder agreed to terms with the Minnesota Twins on a one-year contract with a mutual option for 2026, the Daily News confirmed. Bader, a native of Bronxville, N.Y., hit .236 with 12 home runs, 51 RBI and 17 stolen bases with the Mets last season. He appeared in 143 games, and started 108, in the regular season.
