CES 2025 is buzzing with the latest hardware from NVIDIA, AMD, Lenovo, and plenty of other tech giants — all of which were expected, but unexpectedly, it's also buzzing with news about the new Nintendo Switch that's slated to arrive this year.

At CES 2025, accessory maker Genki is showing off what it claims to be an accurate replica of Nintendo’s unannounced Switch 2 console.

The Switch 2 leak floodgates appear to have fully opened now as tech event CES 2025 continues, and one accessory maker has shown off what it claims to be mock-ups of Nintendo's upcoming console, which it alleges are molded from the real thing.

In a statement shared on X, ex-Nintendo PR manager Krysta Yang shared her own insight into what’s happening at Nintendo. Yang, who worked at Nintendo from 2007 until 2022, helped launch multiple consoles while at the company.

A third-party maker of gaming accessories created a mockup of Nintendo's next video game console, the Switch 2, and is showing off features Nintendo has yet to announce, including an optical sensor and a new controller button.

Nintendo may be close to officially revealing the Switch 2, but third-party manufacturers have already let the cat out of the bag. After Dbrand publicly spoke about the Switch 2's dimensions, accessory maker Genki reportedly revealed a life-sized model of the handheld at CES.

Though no games have been officially confirmed for the Nintendo Switch's successor, two rumored launch titles could deliver a powerful one-two punch.
