On March 19, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued a Class II recall notice on Great Lakes Cheese Co. Inc., the parent company that produces one of the grocery chain’s generic cheeses. The recall, which was voluntarily initiated by Great Lakes Cheese, was initiated on Feb. 15, and has yet to be given a termination date.
