CINCINNATI (WKRC) - Warren Davidson has secured a victory in Ohio's 8th Congressional District race, defeating challenger Vanessa Enoch for the fourth consecutive time. The Associated Press called the race at 9:59 p.m., with Davidson capturing 63.9% of the vote compared to Enoch's 36.1%.

The race between Democrat Vanessa Enoch and Republican incumbent Warren Davidson to represent Ohio's 8th district in the U.S. House of Representatives is not a new one for Ohioans.

Longtime GOP Congressman Warren Davidson is taking on Democratic challenger Vanessa Enoch in an effort to secure re-election in Ohio’s 8th Congressional District race.

Davidson, 54, has represented Ohio's 8th Congressional District since 2016. He serves on the House Financial Services Committee, and House Foreign Affairs Committee. He was ousted from Republicans' House Freedom Caucasus in June after endorsing its chairman's opponent for Congress.

Warren Davidson is projected to represent Ohio’s 8th Congressional District, which spans multiple counties in and outside of the Greater Cincinnati area.

This year includes three hotly contested races for Ohio's 1st Congressional District, Ohio's 8th Congressional District and Ohio's 2nd Congressional District.
