Nine months after the futuristic pickup's debut, Tesla starts rolling out the long-awaited software update. But drivers still have to pay attention. 'Do not become complacent,' Tesla warns.

Tesla (TSLA) has started rolling out its driving assistance software to some of its Cybertrucks, finally giving those owners of the futuristic electric truck what every other customer could already use.

It’s been almost 10 months since the Cybertruck, arguably Tesla’s most technologically advanced vehicle, started to ship to customers and it still lacks Autopilot and Full Self Driving. The latter is a key component in Musk’s long-term vision for Tesla and is expected to be fleshed out at Tesla’s “We, Robot” event in Los Angeles on October 10.
