Razzie Awards: ‘Madame Web’ Named Worst Picture, Nabs Two Other Trophies
In more uplifting news, Pamela Anderson nabbed the Razzie Redeemer award, given to a former Razzie winner who has gone on to be celebrated in future work. Anderson was named worst new star for Barb Wire in 1996, but she received critical acclaim and award recognition for her work in The Last Showgirl.
2025 Razzies: ‘Madame Web’ and ‘Megalopolis’ Among Big ‘Winners’ of Hollywood’s Worst
Megalopolis scored two Razzies, one for Worst Supporting Actor (Jon Voight, which he also earned for his 2024 roles in Reagan, Shadow Land, and Strangers) as well as Worst Director for Francis Ford Coppola, who graciously accepted his $4.97 Razzie trophy for his polarizing, decades-in-the-making epic in a statement posted on Instagram.
The Razzies have weighed in. This year's "victims" are none other than Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga, who won the cringe-worthy "Worst Screen Combo" award for their work on Joker: Folie à Deux.
On Friday, the Razzie Awards awarded Coppola’s 2024 flop, Megalopolis, wins in both the director and co-star categories.
