The Peaky Blinders ‘ creator, Steven Knight, is hopeful the upcoming film will be shown on the silver screen. Knight, who also wrote the hit Netflix show, recently told The Playlist about the highly-anticipated film that finished shooting a few months ago and it’s star-studded cast.

And, following what’s probably been the most hard-fought battle in documentary filmmaking of the last ten years, it’s Steven Knight, the BAFTA and Oscar-nominated writer, producer and director of Peaky Blinders, that’s just landed the boss-man behind-the-camera gig.

With the much anticipated Oasis Live '25 reunion just around the corner, the band have announced that a new film will coincide with their tour. The documentary will be created and produced by Steven Knight, a BAFTA and Oscar-nominated writer, producer and director, best known for Peaky Blinders.
