The Edmonton Oilers have two more preseason games on tap before they open up their regular-season schedule next week.

That's after five more players have been cut from training camp. Defencemen Ben Gleason and Phil Kemp, forward Lane Pederson, and goaltender Collin Delia have all been put on waivers, while waiver-exempt forward James Hamblin has also been sent down to the AHL.

The Edmonton Oilers pre-season is entering the final stretch, with three games left: one Monday against the Vancouver Canucks at home, another on the road Wednesday against the Seattle Kraken, and their final on the road against the Canucks.
