Las Vegas police said a 57-year-old passenger died after a crash involving reckless driving early Christmas morning.

The Metropolitan Police Department says an 84-year-old pedestrian was killed when she was struck by a vehicle on Christmas in Las Vegas. According to police, the crash occurred at about 11:09 p.m. Wednesday on West Spring Mountain Road west of Spring Shower Drive.

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - Las Vegas police saved two stuck climbers at a Red Rock Canyon trail on Christmas morning. The climbers were at Pine Creek on Christmas Eve when a storm passed through and they could not keep going. Because of the high winds, search and rescue were not able to rescue them. The climbers stayed overnight.

A man, also in his 80s, who was driving the car in which the woman was travelling, was also seriously injured.
