Through this evening, some of the heavier showers and thunderstorms could bring some of us up to an additional inch of rainfall. While this moisture is helpful to break our drought, it could also cause some standing water around storm drains that are clogged with new fallen leaves.

When the polls open this morning, temperatures will be in the mid to upper 60s with sunny skies with temperatures increasing throughout the day.

There will still be a couple of leftover showers during the afternoon tomorrow, but they should overall be more isolated than what we’ll see the first half of the day. Tomorrow will be slightly cooler, but still warmer than average with highs in the mid 70s.

It’s a windy & warm Election Day afternoon. Those conditions will continue through early evening. A few showers are sliding northward, mainly east of Nashville. A passing sprinkle or shower is possible in Nashville as well, however. Rain chance, 30%. High, around 80°.
