Authorities in Cape May County are investigating a crash between a teen dirt bike operator and a town trash truck. The prosecutor's office in an email said that the incident was fatal, however, a press release that accompanied the email did not indicate who died.

A 17-year-old dirt bike rider died Tuesday after crashing into a trash truck in Cape May County, New Jersey.

The driver of the garbage truck saw the bike coming and stopped while trying to make a turn, investigators said.
