At least one NFL owner has confidence in new Dallas Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer. Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark Hunt has expressed strong support for the Cowboys' decision to hire Schottenheimer as head coach,

The Hunt family watched Schottenheimer, now 51, grow up. Brian led Overland Park High School to the Kansas Class 5A state title in ’91 and wound up as the backup quarterback to Danny Wuerffel on the University of Florida team that won a national championship.

There's only one coordinator opening remaining on new Dallas Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer's staff: offensive coordinator. Whomever he hires to that role will not be the play-caller, as Schottenheimer will assume that role.
