A husband and wife have died following a suspected hit-and-run incident in Blanchardstown, Dublin on St Stephen’s Day. The couple, who lived in Whitestown, Dublin 15, are understood to have been crossing the road at the time.

Named locally as Anthony Hogg, 40, and wife, Georgina Hogg-Moore, 39, the couple tragically lost their lives at around 5.45pm on Boxing Day on Blanchardstown Road North, west Dublin. A vigil was held in honour of the couple at the scene of the incident on Friday evening.
