( MENAFN - IANS) Imphal, Nov 19 (IANS) Political slugfest has erupted over the ethnic strife in Manipur with the state Chief Minister N. Biren Singh slamming congress leader P. Chidambaram for accusing him of the violence in the northeastern state.

Imphal: Manipur Chief Minister Biren Singh on Tuesday hit back at Congress leader P Chidambaram for blaming him for the crisis in the state and accused the former Union Minister of being the "root cause" of the ongoing crisis in the northeastern state.
