The nature center is indoors so I would think it would be fine. The outdoor portion would be dependent on the weather.

no entry fee to enter the parking lot....we were there for a wedding and just parked....did not go into the nature area.

Do they allow dogs?
A:
They didn't used to. You may want to call. There is a park very close that allows dogs. Forest Preserves are also all around the area less then 5 min drive. They allow dogs.
