Wear hiking boots. Take water, food & proper gear. Though there is a cafe at the start of the hike. The bus leaves from pucon at 830 and the last bus from the park is at 510. The bus costs 5800 pesos… Full review by wildling123

Hi Jessica, hope you are well. I recently did a 20km hike here of the las lagos trail which crosses many stunning lakes - totally recommend. I don't believe you would need a tour company for this hike. buses run from the town of Pucon to the park and the trail is very well marked. You could also drive there (which is what we did). There will be others doing the same hike so you won't be alone. it's not hard to navigate at all. Hope this helps!
