The Gunnar Nordstrom Gallery is a friendly and intimate gallery of contemporary artwork located in the heart of Kirkland Washington's trendy shopping district on the waterfront. Gunnar Nordstrom Fine Arts was established in Bellevue in 1985 as a resource for collectors looking to purchase original prints by International artists such as Chagall, Miro, Motherwell and Warhol from a competent and honest art dealer in the Pacific Northwest. With a blossoming regional art scene, the Gunnar Nordstrom Gallery moved in 1990 to Kirkland Washington’s growing art community to showcase some of those regionally outstanding painters and printmakers. With an emphasis on whimsical and expressionist work, patrons frequently choose the Gunnar Nordstrom Gallery as their favorite gallery. In 2008 with a looming recession the Gallery relocated back to Bellevue, at Bellevue Place with the upscale retailers of the Bellevue Collection.
