Totally overrated, the beach is loud, the locals drunk or stoned dancing, entertaining evrry single person with instagram dances, nothing for people searching peace and easy living!Full review by Sabine P

Yes, there is a fee (7-8 euro) to enter the grounds of the Union Estate to access the beach. There are stalls for lunch (bbq type) and drinks, nothing fancy. I didn’t see any umbrellas for hire. Almost everyone hires bikes so you may want to do this and cycle to the beach to save time.
Hi All, We are planning to visit Anse Source sd D'Argent for a full day in Early May, will the beach free of seaweed for a beautiful photos opportunity? Or any beach in La Digue you recommend that seaweed free and can walk from La Digue Jetty? Thank you in advance for your help. Regards, Alan

Anse Source D’Argent should be seaweed free at that time there are so many different spots that you can go to along that beach for photo opportunities. La Digue is a small island you can pretty much get around the entire island in one day by hiring a bicycle and cycling - it is so easy to get around and there are a few beaches that make beautiful photo opportunities!

Hi, La Digue is only 15 minutes by fast ferry from Praslin. Book your boat ticket in advance goes to Cat Cocos Ferry Booking. Take the first ferry at 7 am and return with the last boat at 5:45 pm. It gives you a full day in La Digue. When you arrive in La Digue, walk from the jetty to the bicycle rentals, and rent a bike for one day and drive to Anse D'argent, the beautiful beach in the world, located inside L´Union Estate. The gate is open from 6 am - there's an entrance of 115 rupees. You get a bracelet, which allows you to in and out of the beach anytime. Walk around the beach take some photographs before the big crowds arrive later in the morning. After that, drive to Anse Coco and Grand Anse or hoping to other beaches on the island. If you feel tired of biking, go back to Anse D' argent and spend your time on the beach until time of departure again to Praslin. Enjoy paradise!
