This is an amazing museum. First, it was free! Ok we paid for the parking ($6) but what else is free these days. Second, the museum itself is nicely situated, has a great cafe and is just pleasant… Full review by Greg H

How long does it take to view just the free sections of the museum?
A:
Almost all of the museum is free. My guess is three hours minimum.

is terracotta warriors exhibit open at 10? is admission only allowed at ticket time?
A:
Not sure about the open time. It should be posted on the web site. We had tickets during the week when they were not busy and they allowed us to go in early.

I doubt that would be a problem Not sure what exhinit your tickets are for but if the timing turns out to require you to go in for a tour at a precise time and you happen to be early , …

I doubt that would be a problem Not sure what exhinit your tickets are for but if the timing turns out to require you to go in for a tour at a precise time and you happen to be early , there's lots more to see other than the special exhibits. When we went in early December to see the Terracota Warriors, it was very relaxed. No time pressure.

Unfortunately, I did not get to see the exhibit...did not know it was there! But I was very happy to see the Museum! and especially the Faberge collection! And the architecture is splendid...If the weather had been warmer, I would have enjoyed the garden area.
