Went to see Les Mis for the 2nd time. Lovely theatre with great seats middle of third row. The show was absolutely brilliant. Singing was trully first class by the whole cast.Full review by Les P
I would like to attend a play or musical but my spouse says that there is an unwritten "dress code" at most of the larger theatres. For instance gentlemen would feel out of place if they did not wear a jacket and tie. Is this true? Or is this a thought from the distant past?

If you want to dress up - go for it. I like to dress quite smartly myself but bearing in mine you are sitting quite a while.
