District 2 is a former urban district of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. As of 2010, the district had a population of 140,621 and a total area of 50 km². District 2 was merged with District 9 and Thủ Đức district to become Thu Duc City on December 9, 2020, by Standing Committee of the National Assembly's approval.
