The hotel has their own service. You have to pay for it but it was very efficient. I can't imagine a regular taxi would be any cheaper or safer. I don't think its worth the time to try it on …

There are several palapa bars on the beach as soon as u arrive. They all serve food and the food is excellent. Be prepared with cash. Most don’t accept card.
We are currently staying in mismaloya at the Barcelo. Does anyone have any info on the water if it’s safe to be swimming in? I snorkeled/swam for a good solid 2 hours and I now am breaking out with a rash on my chest! Where might I be able to find a current report on the bacteria level in the water ??
