Highly recommend a wine tasting at Domaine Bovy and walking along Chem. du Dezaley. The latter is a quiet, flat path along the lake with vineyards right on either side of you for the whole walk.Full review by pocketneuroscientist

This area is like a wedding cake. lake on the bottom, but if you drive there, you will only see the lake. if you drive up and then take smaller roads towards chexbres and vevey, you'll be able to enjoys both the lake and vineyards from a higher elevation. those roads are small and constantly change their names. my best advise is to write down the sequence of villages from west to east, and just follow the signs that will point the way to those villages. Route de la corniche and Bellevue I definitely took, the rest I don't remember.

catch the slow train to Lausanne (S + a number) and get off on the way at any one of the vineyard stops - Rivaz/Saint-Saphorin, Epesses, Cully, Lutry... From these places your walk will be uphill at first. Or get off in Vevey, change to the train that goes up to Chexbres and walk down Or from Lausanne, take the train up to Grandvaux and walk down. You can also hire a bicycle... Ask at the tourist office for a vineyard map. There are also organized vineyard tours that include wine tastings.
