There is a place to rent although near downtown. Its at SW 2nd Ave and SW 6th Street in Gainesville. Once you rent your bike just continue South on the Rail Trail about one and one half miles until it turns into the Gainesville/Hawthorne Trail at the Boulware Springs Trailhead. Keep in mind that the trail is about 17 miles one way. I hope this answered y'alls question. Dave
