This waterfall was beautiful and it was a very popular area for tourists. We managed to get parking on the street and had a short walk to the actual falls which was easily located by the sound.Full review by al0vely

We are thinking of stopping on our way to lake Murray, is there a large parking lot-well be towing a boat?

I’m not sure. We parked in a handicapped slot on the street. I think I saw parking garages since it is pretty much in the downtown area but not sure if it can accommodate a boat.

Definitely. The park is crawling with dogs. They have to be leashed, and you have to pick up after them (there are dispensers with waste bags in them), but dogs are definitely welcome and encouraged all around the park and downtown.
