Such a great experience walking in the ocean floor. The sand is thick and reddish in colour. Wear shoes that you don’t mind getting ruined.Full review by kimaZ939XO

Amazing experience to walk along the ocean floor. The cliffs on either side are huge and it is breath-taking. Definately a must do if you come to Nova Scotia.Full review by Michelle P

The campground is clean, calm, with a lots of space (and trees) between campsites which we appreciated a lot. The toilets and showers are clean. We enjoyed the walk on the beach in the morning before…Full review by Lou P

Hi all. We're planning a trip to Blomidon in two weeks. Is it still possible to walk along the base of the cliffs at low tide with the stairs closed? Where do we go to access that area?

The stairs are apparently still closed...others have asked the same question and a lot of folks did what I did...crawl under the tape and use the steps or I guess there is a trail nearby …

Yes there are fixed stairs. ..but when we were there they were closed for use. Go passed the stairs and you'll see a way down following the water and the small falls...careful on the …
